How We Started

Volunteers for Serving Hands, Inc. come from all walks of life.  The first volunteers met through Pranic Healing classes and Meditation on Twin Hearts.  Meditation on Twin Hearts is a healing meditation for the self and the world.  Within the meditation we ask to bless the earth with goodwill and the will to do good – not to just harbor goodwill, but also put it into practice by doing good deeds. This is the motivation behind Serving Hands, Inc.

Today, all are welcome to be active in Serving Hands, Inc. by volunteering and donating.  With love and compassion we hope to serve others by helping to provide the basic needs of food, personal hygiene, and by funding financial assistance for those in need.
"Thank you for taking time to tour our Bethel Mission on Wednesday.
We greatly appreciate your generous gift of $200. With our current menu budget Louis has told us that $1.85 provides a meal for one person so your gift is able to provide about 108 meals — about the same as the number of people who came in from the community on Wednesday.”

“Thank you for the donation of a weekend meal for Hawthorn Hill.  It was so nice of
you to think of our families.  We greatly appreciate the kindness.”

Dear Serving Hands,
Thank you for stepping in and donating so that my child could attend school. We really appreciate it! This is
giving my child a chance to grow and learn more! Thank you!
